I've found my furever family!

Hi I’m Ginger Snap, but you can just call me your new BFF. While I may be pint sized, my personality is larger than life… spunky, sweet, smart and currently the title holder of world’s best snuggle bug; I’m really the full package. Don’t be fooled by my bashful side when we first meet, I just take a little time to warm up (pro tip: the more you snuggle me, the quicker I warm up to you). I do prefer to have a human nearby at all times and will currently protest if I’m put in a kennel and left behind. I tried to explain that I was simply singing the very sad song of my ancestors, but my foster mom insisted it was more of a protest (rude). Currently sharing a home with 3 other foster siblings, all k9’s and it’s pretty chill. My favorite is the one they call the wild child. She’s only 15lbs and while she can get a bit crazy with the zoomies, she’s fun to play with. The other two, not so much. There’s small, grumpy old one that gives me the stink eye, so I ignore him and the larger fluff ball is too big for my taste, so I mostly ignore him, plus he drools when we sit for treats… ewe.
My foster mom says during transitions, I am a flight risk until I settle in; I suppose that’s the official term for trying to wiggle out of my harness in the yard or dart out when I saw an open door. It was just a temporary thing though. Once they kept holding me, taking naps with me and telling me what a good girl I am, I started to realize life could be pretty sweet and I didn’t need to be so scared.

Since it’s never polite to ask a lady her age or weight, I’ll just cut to the chase and save you the embarrassment ... I’m 4 years young and about 12lbs. I am a doxie mix complete with the most adorable little legs and signature doxie ability to jump higher than you can imagine.
