I've found my furever family!

Poppy is so happy to be in a foster home after having a tough start to life. She is a dachshund mix estimated to be 1 1/2 years old and is a total sweetheart. Although she is still very nervous and learning how to be a dog, she is getting braver by the minute. She is an excellent passenger princess in the car. Her favorite things include belly rubs and exploring in the house. Poppy has done okay with the other dog in her foster home but would prefer a mellow dog friend. She is practicing being on a leash and being outside. Poppy would love to match with a patient adopter who can give her the confidence to embrace her fantastic personality.
