I've found my furever family!

Sadie June is a female coonhound mix estimated around 2 years old. She came to us with a broken leg and deep wounds. She has had surgery and healed and is starting to put weight back on the leg and is ready for her new life! Sadie June LOVES people and loves to give kisses. She thinks she is a lap dog at times and still has some puppy tendencies, but can be redirected with toys or bones. Sadie loves to play with other dogs!  She would do best with a family that understands hounds and hound experience would help.  She can be protective of her food/bones (makes sense given she came to the rescue severely underweight).  Sadie would thrive in a home with boundaries as she responds best to that and respects them.    Sadie June recently had a seizure while in foster and has been started on anti seizure medication as a proactive measure.  We hope over time she can be taken off of them and monitored in her forever home.
