I've found my furever family!

Chessy came to the rescue last fall from a puppy mill.  She was very shut down and has been working in her foster homes over the last 9 months to gain confidence and understand how good the world can be.  She is still very timid and a little scared but has been making progress!  Chessy is looking for a home that is understanding of her situation and will be willing to work with her and give her lots of attention.  Another dog in the home would also help her adjust and continue teaching her how to be her best self.  Chessy has been working on walking on a leash, loves to snuggle at night and give kisses.  Once she is comfortable, she is content.  She is used to using a crate in her foster home.
