I've found my furever family!

Momma Mia is a wire haired terrier estimated at 3 years old.  She came to us with her litter of puppies that have all been adopted. It is now time for her to have a forever home. She wants to take things slow when first meeting new people but once she knows you then she will be your best friend.  Momma Mia loves walks, car rides and beggin strips. She will lick your hand for some chin rubs or head pets. She is still learning some leash manners when walking as she likes to be in charge.  On car rides she likes to look out the window or just lay down for a snooze.  She has a good amount of energy so daily walks and a nice fenced in backyard for her to enjoy would be beneficial. She is dog selective. She has enjoyed outside walks with other dog friends. She can be protective of her space and things. She would be recommended for a home with older kids(teenagers). She has done great in a crate during the day for napping and overnight. Momma Mia quickly learns which door you take her out of for a walk and could sneak out your door if not careful. She does best with boundaries and some alone quiet time throughout the day.  She can get attached to her person easily and want to be your shadow. This can cause some dogs to be more protective so having her spend some time alone in a crate is good. You will just fall in love with her little white socks, nonstop happy tail and her cute face if you just give her a chance!
