I've found my furever family!

Helen was found wandering in the road as a grey eyed completely blind and sick 1 pound kitten. That day a wonderful good samaritan scooped her up and saved her from the all to familiar but unfortunate fate of feral kittens. From that moment her story and struggle had only just begun. Over the next few weeks she would suffer complete hair loss on her face around her eyes and struggle to gain weight. But just like Helen the Dr and medical staff foster did not give up. Slowly she gained weight, and grew the longest tail, her facial hair began to grow back. She learned to navigate her new foster home with her sense of sound and smell with the help of her best dog friend Myrtle who never left her side. Today Helen’s sight has improved enough that she does have partial vision in one of her eyes and she has found a furever home in the arms and hearts of her foster family who could not break the special bond that Helen and Myrtle hold.
