I'm ready for my new family!

For as poorly as she has been treated, Tara is such a sweetheart. Unfortunately, someone took it upon themselves to snip the tips of her ears. This doesn't stop her from loving everyone she meets! Tara will lean her whole body into you for pets and snuggles. She can be an aggressive player with other dogs. She is not trying to hurt them, just gets overly excited and has difficulty calming down. She enjoys running in the play yard and walks decent on a leash. She is incredibly smart and already knows "sit" and is great at recall for treats or a squeaky toy. She is looking for a loving family that will care for her. Tara has tested positive for heartworms but has started her pre-treatment.
