Butterscotch a female Pit mix and is estimated at 3 years old. She came to us 2 days after giving birth to her 5 babies. Butterscotch tested positive for Heartworms and will start pretreatment once her babies are done nursing, and she is recovered. The cost of her treatment is $600. Nunu is a female Pit mix estimated around 5 years old. She came to us from a county shelter in rough shape. She has several mammary tumors, severely emaciated, and is Heartworm positive. RAMONA
Ramona is a 7 year old Retriever Mix. She is a sweet girl who loves people and knows basic commands. She is good with dogs! She also loves to snuggle and carry around her blankie. Ramona tested positive for Heartworms and has started pretreatment. We are currently raising funds to begin her fast kill treatment. The cost for her treatment is $600.
SOPRANO
Soprano came to us with a leg injury. Our veterinarian examined her and she was easily able to tell the leg is broken. It is an older injury that is starting to heal but needs to be splinted. Soprano’s muscles are incredibly frail, and this is most likely due to nutritional deficiencies and inadequate exercise. The plan is for her to stay in her splint for two weeks, take it off, and re- evaluate. We will continue to do this until she is healed. She will not be available for adoption until after her care is complete. She was also severely matted and had to be completely shaved down to relieve her of the pain. WINK
Wink came to Adoption First Animal Rescue from a county shelter needing Entropian surgery on both eyes. He is now recovering with his foster home and will be available for adoption soon. We need to raise funds to cover the cost of his surgery. Donate Below!
ROSA
Rosa came to the rescue needing an immediate C- Section. She had been in labor for over 24 hours and it was very apparent that her puppy was stuck. Rosa is now recovering and awaiting her forever family. We are raising funds to cover the cost of her surgery. Please Donate Below.
JOY
Joy came to us very pregnant from a county shelter and went straight into a foster home to have her babies. Joy went into labor and started showing signs of distress. Her foster brought her in to be checked by our veterinarian. Through an exam it was discovered that one of Joy's puppies was stuck in her birth canal. Our veterinarian team prepped Joy for an emergency c-section. It took a team of 8 staff to resuscitate each puppy. All 8 puppies survived, and mama Joy is doing well back in her loving foster home with all of her little babies. Please consider donating to mama Joy's emergency surgery.
KAORI
Kaori came to the rescue with Parvo and fought hard for her life. During her parvo treatment she developed a very strange wound on her arm. It took 2 months of constant care and treatments to get Kaori back to the healthy puppy she is now! Please consider donating to our amazing fighter, Kaori.
